Weekly practical exercises for self-learners who want to memorize books, articles, or even learn languages.

“Is there a note taking system that improves learning?”

Yes… Even though people only write what suits them, there is a method that greatly improves your study.

I don't know about you, but I prefer writing in a physical notebook. Even if digital makes it easier to organize large volumes, I love disconnecting from the internet.

I take notes on books, shorthand, and reflections I have, but doesn’t everyone use it the same way?…

If you write something and forget it completely, to the point of not remembering it a week later, then there's a problem.

We all have problems that seem fine to us, but from a distance, a careful observer notices something off.

Even more so when that sense of progress tricks you into believing something that isn’t real.

Knowledge going from pencil to notebook doesn't change direction… it just gives shape and order to your thought, it doesn't move it elsewhere.

That matters because it feels intuitive to think you've stored the information somewhere else. But no, notes should help you understand, not just memorize.

With that said, let's move on. If you haven’t grabbed the Memory Palace Kit (the only easy-to-use system that ensures better memorization), click below. See you on the other side.
